Dimitriou score the crucial goal, a two-point shot in the first set, to make it 15:12, a difference that Portugal wereunable to cut with the clock ticking towards the end.
Two minutes before the end of the first set, the two rivals were even (14:14), but Portugal didn’t find the net ever since and succumbed to Greece’s superiority.
