The final test event ahead of the IHF Men’s and Women’s U18 Beach Handball World Championships saw Argentina’smen’s youth team narrowly beating Spain in straight sets at the Carteros beach facilities.
Spain was leading 15:14 in the first set, but Argentina came back to win it with 20:19 and lead 1:0. In the second set the team from South America took a three-goal lead (14:11), to seal their victory.
The Spaniards won 8:4 an extra shoot-out set that both teams agreed to play after the end of the match.
