The opening game of the Women’s Youth World Championships was an exciting one in the main court of the Karteros Beach Sports Centre, in Heraklion.
Hungary beat Poland 2-0 (18:10, 11:10) for a victorious debut at the 2ndWomen’s Youth Beach Handball World Championships. Kazeem sealed the defending champions’ victorythanks tothe golden goal she scored in the second set.
Zentai and Levai stood out in the attack for the winning side, while goalkeeper Laura Carmen Orban was excellent in the second set.
