Iran got off to a winning start at the World Junior Beach Handball Championships as they comfortably defeated the USA 2-0 in straight sets.
Iran started the match very strongly and combined with several errors by the USA, they managed to take a strong lead and managed to win the first set comfortably. In the second set, the US appeared more competitive but again it was Iran who imposed their pace and came out on top.
