A second victory in as many matches for Sweden, after they defeated the USA 2-0 in a group A match.

The Swedes, who were better in both sets, did not encounter any particular difficulty, except from the first four minutes in both sets, when the Americans were close. In the first set, with the scoreat 4:4, the difference was gradually increased for the Swedes who prevailed 26:16.

The match was similar in the second set, with the Americans being competitive only in the opening minutes. Then, Sweden gained a double-digit difference, which they kept it until the end.
