Poland celebrated its qualification to the semi-finals of the Women's World Championships, after an exciting match against Germany, winning 2-1 in sets.
It was the Poles who dominated the first part of the match and cruised to an easy victory.
In the second set, Germany evened things up and although close, they won 17-16 and took the match to a shootout. There, Poland was more resilient and with a 7-6 score, they qualified for the semi-finals.
In the afternoon, Poland will face Spain for a spot in the final, while Germany will play Argentina for place 5-8.
