Croatia won all their matches in the MainRoundandfinishedatop of Group A with 10 points, following their victory (2-0) over Greece.

The hosts ranked third, behind Croatia and Uruguay, while Spain were the last team toqualify to the quarter-finals after awell-deserved 2-0 victory over the USA.

The two American teams, USA and Argentina will continue playing for the 9-16 placement matches.

GROUPB

Brazil overcame Denmark’s resistance with 2-1, and clinched the first place of Group B with 10 points. Qatar defeated Iran in the shoot-out and went tight in points with Denmark, but finished ahead of the Danes, since they defeated them in the Main Round.

The last ticket for the quarter-finals went to Norway, despite losing to Portugal.

The two teams that missed the quarter-finals were Iran and Portugal.
