Argentina finished higher among the teams that missed the semi-finals at the Women’s Youth Beach Handball World Championship in the Karteros Beach Sports Centre.

The Argentinians beat France in the shoot-out to rank 5th, while Brazil edged Germany to finish 7th.

The highest ranked team among those that didn’t make it to the quarter-finals, was Romania who defeated Ukraine 2-1.
